Close up of an Aria 7

The Subwoofers are Tonegen 1259, 12" drivers as used in NHT's 3.3 Speaker System.
The cabinets are sealed and approximately 100 liters, net interior volume.
The drivers are powered by KG-5230 "plate amps".

The Tonegen 1259s and the KG-5230 amps were obtained from Madisound.

Atop the Subwoofers are Aria 7s, using Focal 7K4411 7" drivers in a D' Appolito, MTM (Mid-Tweeter-Mid) arrangement, the tweeters are Focal TC120Tdx.
The cabinets vented and 45 liters , net interior volume.

The center speaker is a Joe D'Appolito design using a pair of Focal 7K4411B drivers, a Focal  5K4411B  mid-range and a Focal TC90TdxB tweeter (all shielded).

The original Aria 7 Tower as designed
by Joe D'Appolito.  Since I needed
to have the Aria7s sit upon subwoofers,
I made the front as small as practicable
(to minimize edge diffraction) and
increased the depth of the cabinet
to retain the same net interior volume.
So I made Aria 7s with an entirely
different shape, but retained Mr.
D'Appolito's design.
