Purchased a Dayton 300-762 Subwoofer kit, consisting of the following:
Dayton 295-404 Titanic MKIII, 12" driver (see above).
Dayton 300-806, 500 Watt plate amplifier (see above).
Dayton 302-810, 2.2 cu.ft. braced cabinet (see above).
Also included in the kit were: Spikes and foam stuffing.

Since this subwoofer would be part of a home theater system with the rest of the speakers finished in oak,
it was decided to finish this cabinet in oak also (besides the black finish was ugly).
It was also decided to flush mount the driver for appearance as no grill was to be used.

After removing the black paint, added a piece
of ½" MDF to the front.

Fitted ¼" plywood to the Amp mounting
area to allow flush mounting of the amp.

Added ¼" oak plywood to all sides (including the bottom).
Driver mounting has been routed to ¾" depth to allow
flush mounting of the driver.
